Does stone with high price means more astrological effect?
High price means higher quality which in turn means that particular stone has good colour, good transparency, good lustre and lesser inclusions therefore if worn for astrological purpose; it will give the better results.
What is the difference between ratti, carat weight and Karat?
Both are the unit of measurement of weight of a stone. Carat is the international unit which is followed all over the world. Ratti is an Indian unit and may differ in different parts of India also. 1 carat is equal to 200 mg, while 1 ratti is equal to 180 mg. Karat is used to measure the purity of gold.
How do I know whether my gemstone is real or synthetic?
Always ask for the lab testing report for the gemstone you purchase. Person who has studied gemology is authorised to test and give the report for any gemstone.
What is meant by origin testing?
Origin means the proof of a place where the gemstone has been mined. For e.g old Burma ruby means that the particular ruby has been mined from old Burma.
